A couple of days before Patience passed, she and her buddy Honeymoon came charging into the little arena with tails curled over their backs, snorts echoing through the yard and with a lofty, suspended trot. For an audience, they strutted their stuff before coming over to beg for cookies. That is how I will remember her.
