On November 7th, 2003 we bade a tearful good-bye to Sonimoniet RSI when we lost him to an inoperable colic. There is one confirmed and one other potential foal coming in 2004 by him. He wasn't with us long enough.

Another special one waiting at the Rainbow Bridge

Jim and Betsy Foley shared this photo taken of their yearling colt
Amir (Serr Serabaar X DA Amira Moniet)

January 9, 2003 I received the most wonderful letter. I very much enjoy hearing back from folks who have my babies, especially when they call or write to brag!  I hope Cindy's Letter makes you smile as it did me!

It's foaling season 2003 - and we have the first baby pictures of the year! :-)

This is DA Blue Moon
He was born February 27, 2003. He is approximately 3 weeks old here. His sire, DB Destiny Moniet, is 22, his dam, Rabanna Moon is 25 (OLD for a broodmare) and he is the ONLY product of 2 Sir White Moon offspring. Since the odds of his existence fell in the "once in a blue moon" category - so he is named! Today he was King of the Weed Patch!

We are waiting patiently for good, warm weather so he can have a bath and we can get some clean photos of him to share with you.

For more information on the Sir White Moon bloodlines and the program we are pursuing, visit the Sir White Moon page.

This is DA Mona Moon
She arrived on May 15, 2003. These photos were taken at 4 days of age. Her sire is DB Destiny Moniet and her dam is Ghamonarsi. Ghamonarsi is 22 years old, making this filly another miracle from our geriatric broodmares. She is also part of the Sir White Moon replacement program, being a granddaughter on the sire's side and a great granddaughter on the dam's side. Now you can see why we think it is important to preserve this old blood up as close as we can! This filly really reflects her Saglawi heritage!

Bragging rights go out to Skyla Sutton and her gelding "Tempo" formally known as DA Antar Shalou. The list of their accomplishments in 2002  is impressive!

SWIT & DR
Top 15-points-3rd place
Top 10-miles-1st place

PNER
Top 25-20th place
*ANIMAL HORSE* most consecutive miles...one award only...proud of this one!
Top 5 Idaho-3rd place
Sandybar Award-10 or more consecutive completions-did 12

AERC
Top 7 Regional Heavy Weight-2nd place

Tempo is sired by RG Alcibay and out of the mare Gullnar who is a maternal half sister to our stallion DB Destiny Moniet. Even though Bob and Arlene Morris got to hang their ME brand on him, we are proud that this Destiny Arabians bred gelding is representing our program so well. He and Skyla make a great team!

Congratulations
to Tempo & Skyla!
